Birmingham Conference

Held at Ebenezer Chapel, Station Road, Old Hill B64 6PA

The two day conference organised by the Christian Worship committee was first held in 2010, when Malcolm Watts, Vernon Higham and Roland Burrows were the speakers. Since then, there have been yearly conferences during the month of March. The conference provides ministry and fellowship. A number stay overnight in nearby hotels, which provides further opportunity of fellowship and friendship.

The ethos of the conference is very much heart religion or experiential Calvinism. There is also an emphasis on reverential worship.

“I am certain, as I have said several times before, that nothing but a return of this power of the Spirit on our preaching is going to avail us anything. This makes true preaching, and it is the greatest need of all today – never more so. Nothing can substitute for this” Martyn Lloyd-Jones

We are most grateful to the pastor, church officers and congregation at Ebenezer Chapel for their kindness and support in allowing us to use their facilities for the conference.

God willing, the speakers for Conference 2026 will be Timothy Nelson, Murdo Macleod and Malcolm Watts. The conference is due to take place on Friday 20 March and Saturday 21 March 2026 at the usual venue of Ebenezer Chapel, Old Hill. Schedule here.
